A year and more of debt, reflection

It's been a year. I haven't really done much in that year. I burned out. I burned out so hard that I'm disabled in multiple ways, and I need your help.

It's about lots of things

Here's a list of things it's about. I'm sure you like some of these things, because I do too.

A trio of blue milk bottles sits on a driveway

They're putting blue food coloring in everything

"Why is my burger blue?" I asked, innocently. "Oh! We're making all of our food blue, all the best restaurants are doing it now." the waiter explained. But I didn't want my burger to be blue.

A rough start - Irregular updates

If you've been reading my blog so far, you know I've been struggling. Work slowed down for me this time last year, and since then my only reliable contract was forced to cut my hours and eventually let me go.

This update is going to be a weird one, maybe a bit short, maybe a bit long. As the year comes to a close, the burnout is stronger than ever. I just finished writing my personal year end reflection in Obsidian, and the prevailing theme for every section was burnout.

Shock and Awe - Irregular Updates

Time for another one of my Irregular updates! You can tell I've been busy because it's actually been over 4 weeks since my last post, instead of 2. I'll talk about that at the end of the post.

Well, we're back! A smaller update this week (fortnight? month?). Once again, I appreciate all the support people have given me. It's really helped. Right now, I'm in 'keeping the lights on' mode, so even the small donations can mean a day

Holy shit! What have I been up to? - Irregular Updates

Hi everyone, holy shit, you've supported me to the tune of £80 a month! Thank you so so much. Here's quick rundown of the past few weeks

Context Changes

Hello everyone. My goal today was to write an entirely different kind of post, but I received some news today that completely changes the context of everything.

Silly Little Walks

For a month now, I've been going on a walk every day. This is some of the most I've "exercised" in a good number of years. How did this help me?

These past 12 months I’ve been thinking a lot about productivity, and the systems other people use

This weekend (and Monday), I participated in Ludum Dare 37. 5 years ago, I also participated in Ludum Dare, for the first time. A lot has changed in those 5 year
